We Have No Country to Lose, Give the People a Chance to Save Their Dignity
Currently, 35 individuals have been detained at the police departments of Nor Nork, Kentron, Kanaker-Zeytun, and Erebuni. The demand remains the same: administrative fines for failing to comply with a police officer's legal request. This was reported by Shake Isayan, a member of the National Assembly from the "Prosperous Armenia" faction, who, along with fellow MP Arman Abovyan, visited citizens detained at these police stations during a protest demanding the resignation of Nikol Pashinyan.
"The police are clearly using disproportionate force against the demonstrators; footage shows that the operator of 'Yerkir Media' was subjected to violence. Obstructing a journalist's professional activity is simply intolerable and must be strictly condemned. Nikol Pashinyan, do not divide the people; step aside without causing further turmoil. We have no country to lose, give the people a chance to save their dignity," Isayan wrote.
