No Discussion on Giving Up Any Village in Syunik Province, Deputy Governor
No discussion is taking place regarding the cession of any village in the Syunik province to Azerbaijan. This was stated by the Deputy Governor of Syunik, Narek Babayan, on his Facebook page.
“Currently, the roads in the Syunik province, including the Kapan-Goris highway, are safe. The borders of the province are controllable and secure, and there is no delimitation work being carried out anywhere in the province. The issue of ceding any village from Syunik is not under discussion, and the Kapan airport remains within the Kapan community,” the post stated.
On November 9, new borders are being formed between Armenia and Azerbaijan within the framework of the trilateral statement signed by the Prime Minister of Armenia, and the Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan.
