Black Ice Present on Highway Roads in Gegharkunik Region, Snowfall in Talin
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that highways across Armenia are accessible. However, there are areas in the Gegharkunik region where black ice is present.
In the Aragatsotn region, light fog is observed in the town of Aparan, while foggy conditions are noted in the Spitak pass of the Lori region, in the town of Ashtarak, and on the Abovyan-Sevan highway. Meanwhile, snowfall is occurring in the town of Talin.
The roads leading to the Amberd Fortress and Kary Lake in the Aragatsotn region are difficult to navigate. According to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the North Ossetia Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Stephantsminda-Larsi road is open to all types of vehicles.
As per information from the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the decision to prohibit foreigners from entering Georgia remains in effect. This prohibition does not apply to cargo transportations. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
