35 Citizens Detained During Protest Demanding Prime Minister's Resignation
Today, during a protest demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, 35 citizens were detained. This was reported to NEWS.am by the press service of the Police of the Republic of Armenia.
The police also stated that the citizens were detained on the basis of Article 182 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Armenia (failure to comply with the legal requirements of a member of the police or military police).
It is noteworthy that the citizens closed Mashtots Avenue while demanding Pashinyan's resignation, during which the detentions took place.
