Restrictions Will Not Apply: Individual Approaches for Each School, Ministry of Education
The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia has decided to resume in-person learning for students in grades 5-12 in public educational institutions starting December 7 of this year, in compliance with the requirements established by the Minister of Health's order No. 24-N dated September 18, 2020. This information has been reported by the ministry.
This means that an individual approach will be applied to each school depending on the number of cases within the institution, and it may transition to temporary remote learning if necessary. Students in at-risk groups will continue to receive online education through centralized remote learning.
The restrictions set forth in the guidance, such as the prohibition on calling students to the blackboard, will not apply, except for provisions regarding splitting classes into groups when there are 20 or more students to organize the educational process accordingly.
