Rescue Workers Participating in Combat Operations Awarded
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia reports that Minister Andranik Piloyan has awarded the Deputy Director of the Rescue Service, Colonel Hovhannes Yemishyan, with the "Order of Honor - Noah" medal. Under the leadership of Colonel Yemishyan, the ministry’s battalion participated in combat operations in Artsakh.
Minister Piloyan presented medals including "Cooperation for Rescue," "Prevention, Assistance, Rescue," "Selfless Rescuer," and "Best Firefighter-Rescuer" to a number of rescuers who took part in these operations.
The Director of the Rescue Service, Major General Vrej Gabrielyan, has awarded medals such as "Best Firefighter-Rescuer," "Selfless Rescuer," "Prevention, Assistance, Rescue," and "Cooperation for Rescue" to all rescuers who returned from the front lines. The rescuers assured that they would not hesitate to take up arms again if necessary, in defense of their homeland.
