Awards Granted to Police Officers Who Participated in the War
On November 30, a solemn awards ceremony took place at the police headquarters, attended by Police Chief Vahe Ghazaryan and the police leadership. The attendees honored the memory of the heroes who lost their lives in the Artsakh war with a minute of silence.
By the order of Police Chief Vahe Ghazaryan, 184 police officers who participated in the war were commended for their selfless service. The officers were awarded with honorary ranks, medals for 'Strengthening Law and Order', 'Combat Support', 'Bulwark of the Law', '100th Anniversary of the Police', medals for 'Excellent Service', 'For Excellent Service in Police Forces', and various certificates of appreciation.
Expressing gratitude to the awardees, Police Chief Vahe Ghazaryan noted that their patriotic service during the war once again demonstrated that when the homeland is threatened, a police officer is a devoted soldier of the nation.
