Telephone Conversation Between Heads of Foreign Affairs Ministries of Armenia and Moldova
On November 27, Armenian Foreign Minister Ara Aivazyan had a telephone conversation with Aureliu Choco, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova.
The ministers exchanged congratulations on taking over the leadership of their respective foreign affairs ministries and reaffirmed their willingness to jointly strengthen Armenian-Moldovan relations and enrich the bilateral agenda. The interlocutors emphasized the importance of activating dialogue at various levels.
During the conversation, the Armenian Foreign Minister presented the situation created as a result of the war unleashed against Artsakh, with the direct involvement of Azerbaijan, Turkey, and terrorist groups sponsored by it. In the context of conflict resolution, Minister Aivazyan reiterated that the full and fair realization of the rights of the people of Artsakh remains a priority for Armenia. Ara Aivazyan highlighted the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs towards a peaceful resolution.
Thoughts were exchanged on issues concerning the bilateral and multilateral agenda, including cooperation between the two countries within the framework of the Eastern Partnership.
