Interagency Commission on Prisoners, Hostages and Missing Persons Holds Meeting
On November 27, an expanded meeting of the Interagency Commission on Prisoners, Hostages, and Missing Persons was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan.
During the meeting, several issues related to the negotiations for the exchange of prisoners, as well as search operations for missing persons, were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the social security and psychological support of the families of killed, missing, and injured soldiers, as well as the provision of operational and comprehensive information to family members about recent developments.
The issue of expediting the identification process of deceased individuals was also addressed. The Deputy Prime Minister instructed the heads of departments to address existing issues as quickly as possible.
Information will also be periodically provided to the public regarding the government's efforts to return detained individuals and locate the missing persons.
