Fake Pages Using Famous Names: Data Protection Center Issues Warning
The Data Protection Agency informs the public:
"Dear citizens, Facebook users are reporting that fake posts have again become active in the Armenian domain, aiming to seize people's personal, banking, and other data.
The fraud is spreading under the names of celebrities such as Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Garik Papoyan, Kim Kardashian, Serj Tankian, and others. These fake accounts have no real connection to these individuals and seek to gain trust in order to unlawfully obtain data.
It is advised not to respond to such posts—do not like, comment, share, or fulfill their requests by providing your personal information.
