On November 27, at 02:49 local time (22:49 Greenwich time on November 26), the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations recorded an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.9 at geographic coordinates of 40.27° north latitude and 45.85° east longitude, 7 km north of the village of Sotk, at a depth of 10 km.
The intensity of the underground tremors in the epicentral area was measured at 4 points. The earthquake was felt in the city of Vardenis, Gegharkunik Province, with a magnitude of 3.
