Armenian Intellectuals Prepare for Protest Action
Film producer Armen Grigoryan wrote on his Facebook page: “Since there is no government in Armenia today, we call on our colleagues—artists, scientists, athletes, and simply concerned citizens—to gather without political figures for a protest action on Saturday, November 28 at 14:00 at the Charles Aznavour Square (in front of Moscow Cinema).
Since Armenia does not have a government, we demand from all international organizations to:
- Force the Azerbaijani side to release Armenian captives,
- Prevent the dishonoring of Armenian captives at the Baku parade,
- Ensure the prompt return of the bodies of Armenian soldiers to their families.
On Saturday at 14:00, I, Hrant Tovmasyan, and Mher Mkrtchyan will be at the square in front of Moscow Cinema. Anyone who wishes to join our protest action is welcome to share this on their FB pages.”
