UN Ready to Collaborate with Russia on Humanitarian Needs Assessment in Artsakh
The UN is ready to cooperate with Russia on a joint assessment of humanitarian needs in Artsakh. According to Armenpress, this was announced by a spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General.
By a decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated November 10, 2020, a Russian peacekeeping contingent was deployed in Artsakh. The commander of the peacekeepers is Lieutenant General Rustam Muradov.
In order to monitor the ceasefire regime in the region, Russian peacekeepers have established 18 observation posts in the South and North responsibility zones.
