Memorial Service Held in All Churches of Tehran for Fallen Soldiers
According to the diocese of Tehran, on November 22, a memorial service was held in all churches of Tehran for the souls of Armenian martyrs who fell in Artsakh. "Following the directives of two glorious patriarchs, November 22 has been established as the Day of Martyrs of the Artsakh Liberation War. On this occasion, on Sunday, after the Holy and Immortal Liturgy, a solemn memorial service was conducted in all our churches in Tehran for the peace of the souls of the Armenian martyrs who lost their lives during the 44-day struggle for Artsakh.
At the St. Sarkis Cathedral, the religious ceremony was presided over and a sermon was delivered by our esteemed Bishop Sepuh Saroyan. The celebrant was Reverend Sahak Khosrovyan. Present at the ceremony were the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia, Artashes Tumanyan, the embassy's diplomatic staff, the Speaker of the Parliamentary Assembly, Vahik Aghakhanian, the Chairman of the Diocesan Council, Norair Aramyan, and the council's treasurer, Soleiman Keshishyan," the diocese's statement read.
