Pashinyan and Macron Discuss the Situation in Artsakh

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a phone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron. The two discussed the situation in Artsakh.

Both parties emphasized the importance of fully restoring the work of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs. They addressed the issue of ensuring the uninterrupted and safe return of tens of thousands of people who have fled their homes in recent weeks and highlighted the significance of protecting Artsakh's religious and historical-cultural heritage.

The preservation of peace in the region and the further de-escalation of the situation were stressed. In this context, the Armenian Prime Minister noted the fundamental importance of international recognition for the Republic of Artsakh.
