Snowfall in Gavar and Jermuk of Gegharkunik and Vayots Dzor Regions

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that the roads in the Republic of Armenia are passable. Snow is falling in Gavar of the Gegharkunik Region and Jermuk of the Vayots Dzor Region.

Regarding Lars, according to information obtained from the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia's North Ossetia, the Stepanavan-Lars highway is open only for freight transportation due to the state of emergency.

According to information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the decision to prohibit the entry of foreigners into Georgia remains in effect. The ban does not apply to freight transportation.
