VIDEO: Another 20 Aircraft Carrying Russian Peacekeepers and Armored Vehicles Arrive in Yerevan
Two An-124 "Ruslan" and 18 Il-76 aircraft of the Russian military transport aviation have delivered a new batch of armored vehicles and a new group of peacekeepers to Yerevan. This was reported by the "RIA Novosti" agency, citing the Russian Ministry of Defense.
"The latest 18 Il-76 and 2 An-124 'Ruslan' aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces' military transport aviation have landed in Yerevan with equipment and personnel from the 15th peacekeeping brigade to participate in the peacekeeping activities in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone. Russian servicemen have unloaded material goods, weapons, and ammunition," the report states.
Throughout the day, Russian Aerospace Forces' aircraft delivered 58 pieces of equipment to Armenia, including armored vehicles, off-road trucks, fuel trucks, and excavators.
