Vardan Atabekyan Exits the National Assembly's 'My Step' Faction
National Assembly Deputy Vardan Atabekyan has announced his departure from the 'My Step' faction and will continue his activities as an independent deputy. He made this statement on his Facebook page.
“Like the overwhelming majority of the people, I also learned about the signed statement from the press. Not agreeing with the position of the political team, I declare:
- I am leaving the 'My Step' faction in the National Assembly and will henceforth act as an independent deputy.
- I will direct my future parliamentary activities towards minimizing losses from the current situation and will be dedicated to resolving issues concerning the people of Artsakh. For this sole reason, I will not resign my parliamentary mandate.
God protect us,” the deputy wrote.
