The Human Rights Defender Continues to Support the Humanitarian Process of Prisoners and Bodies Exchange
The Human Rights Defender continues to be engaged in the humanitarian process of exchanging Armenian prisoners and bodies, initiated during the Azerbaijani armed attacks that began on September 27, 2020.
The Defender maintains constant communication with the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, the International Committee of the Red Cross, as well as with the family members of the prisoners and their lawyers. From the very beginning, issues related to the protection of our compatriots' rights have been under the constant attention of the Human Rights Defender's office. Necessary measures have been taken around the clock, within the maximum possible legal framework of the Defender.
This was reported by the Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan.
