Any unconstitutional action in Armenia and Artsakh is unacceptable: Republic Party

The Republic Party's statement.

Evaluating the situation in Armenia and Artsakh, the Republic Party declares that it is crucial to avoid a civil war in the country and to foster social solidarity.

We need the opportunity and time to quickly and smoothly rectify the situation. Any unconstitutional action in Armenia and Artsakh is unacceptable. We condemn violence, regardless of whom it is directed against.

The Republic Party believes that the tripartite agreement pertains solely to a ceasefire, and the status of the Republic of Artsakh must be resolved within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group. Diplomatic efforts should continue to reach a solution that takes into account Armenian interests.

The Republic Party shares the grief and sorrow of those who have lost their loved ones in this war. We have had many casualties on the battlefield, and having victims inside the country will undermine statehood. The only way to preserve the state and honor the memory of those who fell for the homeland is to maintain hope and faith that we will restore what has been lost and move forward.
