Agreement on Nagorno-Karabakh Will Help Prevent Further Human Losses, Josep Borrell
Josep Borrell, the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, welcomed the announcement made by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev regarding the cessation of hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh.
Borrell emphasized that the decision will help prevent further human casualties and could serve as a step towards a comprehensive resolution of the conflict. “The European Union continues to support the format established under the leadership of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group and is ready to contribute to these efforts and implement agreements for the peaceful development of the entire South Caucasus region,” stated Josep Borrell.
