Pashinyan is Making Efforts to Explain the Essence of Agreements Surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenian Citizens, Peskov

Press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov stated that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is making every effort to explain the meaning and essence of the agreements reached regarding Nagorno-Karabakh to the citizens of Armenia. The Kremlin is hopeful that these explanations will be properly received, reports RIA Novosti.

“We know that Prime Minister Pashinyan is investing significant efforts in explaining the meaning and essence of these agreements. We hope that these explanations will be accepted appropriately,” he noted.

Previously, Russian President Vladimir Putin had announced that Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia had reached an agreement on the deployment of Russian peacekeepers in the region. For his part, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had stated that he signed a declaration with the presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan to cease hostilities in the Nagorno-Karabakh war starting at 01:00.
