Armenian Ambassador to Israel Remains in Yerevan: Anna Naghdalyan
The Armenian Ambassador to Israel, recalled earlier, continues to remain in Yerevan. This was confirmed today by the spokesperson for the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Anna Naghdalyan, who was asked about the steps being taken in this regards.
"The ambassador continues to stay in Yerevan. As for Armenia's position regarding the sale of weapons to Azerbaijan, it has been clearly expressed. A state that does not hesitate to use such weapons against civilian populations and infrastructures should not be armed; we have witnessed this for the entire past month," said Naghdalyan.
When asked about rumors that Israel had offered humanitarian aid to Armenia, Naghdalyan responded, "We consider it important for Israel to stop the sale of weapons to Azerbaijan. First and foremost, the arming of Azerbaijan and the strengthening of its military capabilities must cease. We face a reality where a state that has survived genocide supports other states that exhibit genocidal intentions and finance terrorism."
