Heavy Fighting in Ishkhanadzor, Kovsakan, and Midjanavan Communities, Says Artsakh President

The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, met with members of the National Assembly of Armenia's 'My Step' faction, led by NA President Ararat Mirzoyan, on October 20. According to the presidential office, the country’s leader presented the situation resulting from Azerbaijani-Turkish aggression, emphasizing that the expansionist ambitions of the current Azerbaijani authorities must receive a political assessment.

Regarding the situation at the front, the president highlighted that military operations are intensively continuing across the entire frontline, with the heaviest fighting occurring in the territories of Ishkhanadzor, Kovsakan, and Midjanavan in the Kashatagh region.

For his part, NA President Ararat Mirzoyan stated that the Republic of Armenia stands by Artsakh with all possible means and, as a guarantor of Artsakh's security, is taking and will take every necessary action stemming from this responsibility.
