Prosecutor's Office Appeals the Decision Not to Detain Football Player Gor Malakyan
The Prosecutor's Office has appealed to the RA Court of Appeals regarding the decision not to detain Gor Malakyan, a player of FC Pyunik.
This was announced by Arevik Khachatryan, head of the Public Relations Department of the Prosecutor's Office, in response to a question from Hraparak.
It is worth recalling that Gor Malakyan is accused of using violence against a representative of authorities and committing hooliganism. His brother, Edgar Malakyan, is also charged with the same offense and has been in detention since September 3. Edgar's detention decision has also been appealed by his lawyer to the Court of Appeals.
The criminal case involving the two brothers concerns a dispute that occurred between them and the police on the night of August 30-31 in Cascade.
