At a press conference held today, journalists asked the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Araik Harutyunyan, for his opinion and level of awareness regarding Henrikh Mkhitaryan's absence from the national team's recent matches. Harutyunyan stated:
“I tend to believe and accept the positions presented by the responsible figures in the field, particularly the president of the Football Federation and the head coach. If I'm not mistaken, there was a recent announcement that Henrikh Mkhitaryan will participate in the next national team gathering.”
