89 Individuals Express Desire to Return to Armenia via Special Convoy through Georgia: Marukyan
At present, 89 individuals have self-organized with 33 vehicles and expressed a desire to return to Armenia using the option proposed by us. This was stated by Edmond Marukyan, leader of the Bright Armenia Party, on his Facebook page.
He specifically mentioned: “As you recall, ten days ago, I appealed to Prime Minister Pashinyan, proposing to organize the return of Armenian citizens and their movable property through a special convoy accompanied by police through the territory of Georgia. I would like to inform you that at this time, 89 individuals have self-organized with 33 vehicles and have expressed their desire to return to Armenia using the proposed method.
The data of these individuals has just been forwarded to the Prime Minister, and I have noted that the list can certainly expand if the Armenian government releases a statement as a result of negotiations, confirming that on a specific agreed date, our citizens will be transported back to their homeland using the aforementioned method. The government’s response regarding this proposal will also be published on my official page.”
