White House Does Not Rule Out Israel Reaching Normalization Agreements with Other Countries Like UAE

Israel may reach a comprehensive normalization agreement with another country in the coming months through US mediation, following the example of the UAE. This was stated by Jared Kushner, US President's advisor, during a press briefing at the White House on Thursday.

“I think there’s a very good chance,” he said, according to TASS, responding to a question about the possibility of such an agreement with another country in the coming months.

He noted that the US has been negotiating with several countries, but those discussions were paused because there had been significant progress with the UAE, prompting Washington to prioritize that step first. “We will now continue our dialogue with those several countries,” Kushner explained.

The American presidential advisor also added that after reaching an agreement with Israel, the UAE effectively becomes one of the closest US allies in the region. “By this move, the UAE joins the club of the chosen and truly becomes one of the closest US allies in the region,” he emphasized.
