A 125% Bonus of Salaries Allocated to National Assembly Staff, Totaling $304,000: AntiFake
As the economic crisis deepens in Armenia due to the coronavirus pandemic, worsening the social situation of citizens, with official data indicating that tens of thousands remain unemployed, the practice of receiving bonuses in state structures continues, reports AntiFake.am.
The outlet informs that the President of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan, signed the K-83-A decree on July 3, which awarded a one-time monetary incentive equal to 125% of the salary to several public servants and staff members in the National Assembly staff.
In response to an inquiry from AntiFake.am, the National Assembly was asked how much in total the employees of the National Assembly received according to the decree of the President of the National Assembly. The National Assembly reported that the total amount of the bonuses amounted to 148,210,030 AMD, which is equivalent to approximately 304,000 US dollars.
