Discussion on the Extended Day Learning Project in Schools

The Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, Zhanna Andreasian, made a post on her Facebook page announcing that a draft regulation for organizing extended day learning in schools is currently under discussion.

"We have submitted for public discussion the draft regulation for organizing extended day learning in general education institutions, within the framework of which we plan to: 1) organize educational support for students in cases where home conditions make it impossible, based on the educational and material base of the institution, including for students attending other general education institutions; 2) create conditions necessary for the development of students' creative abilities by ensuring their active participation in extracurricular activities; 3) provide additional educational services to students who require special educational conditions, including those with low academic performance," she stated.
