China Resumes Flights with 50 Countries Starting August 12

The Chinese authorities have announced the resumption of international flights with 50 countries and regions around the world. Currently, there are 187 flights operated by 93 airlines, comprising 74 foreign and 19 Chinese carriers.

The head of the Safety Division of the Civil Aviation Administration of China stated during a press briefing that China will open regular flights with 50 countries that had been suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic starting August 12.

As of now, there are 210 flights per week to and from China, but air traffic has not yet returned to pre-crisis levels.
