Turkey Introduces Restrictions on Hand Luggage
Turkey has introduced restrictions on hand luggage. Following the resumption of flights to Turkish resorts, airlines have been instructed to change the requirements for passengers' hand luggage. The aim of the new rules is to expedite the landing process and reduce the risks of coronavirus infection. This is reported by euromag.ru.
Tour operators indicate that the new rules have been presented by Turkish authorities. According to the new regulations, passengers are allowed to take only a women's handbag, a man's briefcase, hygiene products for children and baby food, and a laptop in its case.
Video and photographic equipment, as well as small suitcases weighing no more than 5 kg, will have to be checked in as part of the general luggage. Passengers who do not comply with the rules will be removed from the plane.
