Government Allocates 302 Million 618 Thousand Drams for Damaged Real Estate in Tavush Province
The Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Suren Papikyan presented a draft decision on the allocation of funds to the Tavush Regional Administration during a government discussion.
"The aim is to support the residents of border communities in Tavush Province affected by shelling. Based on preliminary assessments, at least 302 million 618 thousand drams is required for compensation and reconstruction of damaged real estate, of which 25 million drams have already been allocated by the government during one of the previous sessions," said Papikyan.
Of the total amount, 110.5 million drams will be directed towards compensation for damaged real estate for residents of the border communities of Aygepar, Nerk'in Karmiraghbyur, and Chinari. Furthermore, 84.3 million drams will be allocated for the reconstruction of schools in Aygepar, Movses, Nerk'in Karmiraghbyur, and Chinari, and for the renovation of shelters. Additionally, 82.6 million drams will be dedicated to the construction of a park in Nerk'in Karmiraghbyur and to the construction and improvement of residential houses and auxiliary structures in Chinari.
