BHK and LHK Appeal to Ararat Mirzoyan

The leader of the 'Bright Armenia' faction in the National Assembly, Edmon Marukyan, made the following post on his Facebook page:

“Dear citizens,
I would like to inform you that moments ago, a request was sent to the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, by the deputies of the ‘Prosperous Armenia’ and ‘Bright Armenia’ factions regarding the effectiveness of the measures taken by the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Commandant's Office to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19), combat that virus, and mitigate or eliminate the consequences of the pandemic, as well as to examine the effectiveness and legality of the restrictions on human rights and fundamental freedoms during the state of emergency.

The created investigative commission will be co-chaired by Arkadi Khachatryan from the ‘Bright Armenia’ faction, and you can find more details about the subject of the investigation and other details below.”
