Mkhitaryan on Djorkaeff

Armenia's national team captain Henrikh Mkhitaryan spoke with the official YouTube channel of Serie A about the French footballer of Armenian descent, world champion Youri Djorkaeff.

"Djorkaeff was one of my idols on the French national team during the 1998 World Cup. I admired him also because he is Armenian and played for one of Italy's best teams, Inter. I tried to imitate him. I would run like him, strike the ball, and maneuver as he did. I am grateful to him for inspiring me to become a footballer," said Mkhitaryan.
