VIDEO: As of 9 AM, 44 Vehicles Violating Movement Restrictions Detected in Armenia
The police continue to ensure the enforcement of the decree aimed at preventing the possible spread of the new coronavirus, which includes restrictions on the free movement of individuals. As of 9 AM on March 27, the road police have identified 44 vehicles throughout the country that were carrying two or more individuals. After the decree came into effect until 9 AM on March 27, a total of 1,260 vehicles had been found violating the order.
All individuals found in violation were removed from their vehicles. Administrative offense reports were compiled against 34 drivers of public transport who had transported more passengers than allowed. We once again urge the public to strictly limit their outings from home and to leave their residences only in cases of extreme necessity. Drivers are advised to carry only one passenger, adhering to the requirements set forth in the decree.
