VIDEO: Girl Distracted Shopkeeper While Boy Stole Money

On March 3, the Malatya division of the police received a call regarding a robbery. Around 20:20, a young boy and girl entered one of the grocery stores on Svazhjian Street. The girl distracted the shopkeeper, while the boy stole 150,000 drams from the cash register. At the last moment, the employee noticed that the young man was taking money from the cash register, but was unable to intervene.

Malatya criminal investigators identified them after several days of operational measures. Both are residents of Yerevan. The 25-year-old man and the 22-year-old woman were located and apprehended on suspicion by the Malatya police. They have provided confessional statements. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified through an investigation.
