Armed Incident in Yerevan: Gunshots Fired, Injured Individuals Hospitalized

Today, on March 4, gunshots were fired in Yerevan. Around 18:30, the police department of Erebuni received a report from the "Erebuni" medical center that two individuals with gunshot wounds had been transported there.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the operational group from the Erebuni police department has arrived at the hospital, led by department head Khoren Barkhoyan, alongside a group from the investigation department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia for the Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative regions.

As reported by G. Shamshyan, the injured individuals were transported from 69 Bournazyan Street. An operational group from the Yerevan police department, headed by department chief Armen Gasparyan, has also arrived at the scene.

Investigators from Erebuni are currently examining the crime scene, and forensic experts from the police are working on-site as well. Blood-like traces have been found in a garage.
