Microbiological Inconsistencies Found in Dairy Products of the Company

The State Service for Food Safety of Armenia has suspended certain operational activities of "Agroprod" LLC. Although sanitary and hygienic violations were addressed during the conducted work, a laboratory examination of the samples taken during the inspection revealed that products under the "Norma" brand of "Agroprod" LLC, including "Sour Cream," "Yogurt," "Dairy Product Made with Dairy Fat Substitute Technology" and "Cottage Cheese Made with Dairy Fat Substitute Technology," did not comply with the established standards for enterobacteriaceae group indicators (E. coli group).

Additionally, there were also yeast present.

The company has been instructed to eliminate the identified violations, organize a sanitary day in the production area, disinfect production and storage equipment and areas, release experimental products of the mentioned types, submit them for laboratory examination, and present the results to the Inspection Body.

A two-week deadline has been set for the elimination of the violations.
