KIA and BMW Collide on Myasnikyan Avenue; BMW Driver Found Intoxicated
Today, on March 3, a major car accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 00:20, on Myasnikyan Avenue, in front of house number 39, a collision took place between a BMW, driven by 33-year-old Armen Avagyan from Aragatsotn Province, with license plate 36 FD 240, and a KIA, driven by 28-year-old Mher Hakobyan from Yerevan, with license plate 14 TV 414.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, the KIA driver M. Hakobyan was taken to the number 1 university hospital with bodily injuries.
Both drivers underwent sobriety tests, and it was determined that the BMW driver was under the influence of alcohol at the highest level.
