Major Car Accident in Armavir Region Involving Passenger GAZelle; 8 Injured

On March 2nd, a major car accident occurred in the Armavir region. Around 19:00, three vehicles—a Mercedes with license plate 36 MT 354, a Mitsubishi Pajero with license plate 08 QQ 088, and a GAZelle with license plate 38 23 L—collided on the 17th kilometer of the Yerevan-Armavir highway.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan at the scene, eight individuals with bodily injuries were transported to the Vagharshapat Medical Center.

The first to assist the injured were citizens alongside officers from the 1st platoon of the 2nd police battalion, led by platoon commander Grigor Poghosyan and squad commander Karen Abelian. The photojournalist reported that due to the collision, the GAZelle, which operates on route number 224 from Yerevan to Nalbandyan, overturned.
