First Death from Coronavirus Registered in France; 16 Cases of Infection Confirmed
A French citizen has died from the coronavirus at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital in Paris. This was reported by BFMTV, citing Jérôme Salomon, the Director General of Health.
The deceased was a 60-year-old man whose condition was assessed as extremely serious. Currently, there have been 16 recorded cases of coronavirus infection in France, with the last three identified on February 25.
Previously, it had been reported that an 80-year-old Chinese national died in France, marking the first death from COVID-19 in Europe.
