Parents at Chekhov School Required to Bring Tissues and Toilet Paper
At the Anton Pavlovich Chekhov School, students in the 6/6 class are required to provide their own toilet paper and tissues until the end of the school year. This was recently reported by journalist Hasmik Danielyan on her Facebook page.
The journalist indicated that the school principal had mandated parents of this class to bring tissues and toilet paper twice a week. The information reached parents through the class teacher and the parent committee.
Immediately responding to Danielyan's post, the spokesperson for the Yerevan Mayor, Hakob Karapetyan, announced that the Mayor's office has instructed the monitoring department to conduct an investigation regarding the matter.
During today’s session of the Yerevan City Council, Deputy Mayor Tigran Virabyan also stated that work is already underway at the school. Mayor Marutyan has instructed to report on the final results.
