Illegal Drug Trafficking Case Disclosed

On February 10, police in Baghramyan District received information regarding the possession and use of narcotics. A 63-year-old resident of the village of Lernagogh was detained on suspicion of drug-related offenses.

During a personal search, officers discovered dried green substances resembling marijuana, wrapped in paper and contained in a bottle, in the pocket of the suspect's shirt. According to the detainee's statement, the found materials are narcotics that he had grown and dried for his own use.

The seized substances have been sent for examination. Materials are being prepared for further action.
