22-Year-Old Driver Involved in Accident Due to Black Ice; Injuries Reported
Today, February 4, another car accident occurred in the Shirak region due to black ice on the roads. Around 5:25 PM, a resident of Gyumri, 22-year-old Avetis M., lost control of his Mitsubishi Pajero io with license plate 36 AM 918 as a result of the icy conditions. The vehicle veered off the roadway, crashed into concrete barriers, and ended up overturned in a ravine.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, driver Avetis M. and his passenger, 22-year-old Lianna G., were transported to the Gyumri Medical Center with bodily injuries.
