Tragic Incident in Artsakh: 9-Year-Old Boy Falls into Drainage Pit and Dies

At 5:13 PM today, the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a report that a citizen had fallen into a drainage pit near the Kashen mine under unclear circumstances.

At 5:14 PM, a firefighting unit from the Martakert regional emergency department was dispatched to the scene.

By 5:24 PM, an operational response group from the rescue forces management had also arrived at the site.

As a result of the search and rescue operations, the body of H.K., a resident born in 2011 from the Vardadzor community in the Martakert region, was recovered from the water.
