Tragic Car Accident: 3-Year-Old Boy Dies on the Spot, Several Injured
Today, January 29, a tragic car accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region. Around 10:50 AM, the driver of a Mercedes with license plate 34 ZL 325 veered off the roadway in the 37 km section of the Sevan-Martuni-Getap road under unknown circumstances, collided with trees and rocks, and ended up overturned in a gorge.
According to photo journalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, one person, a 3-year-old boy, died on the spot, while two others were hospitalized with injuries at the Sevan Medical Center.
The police and investigative department are working to determine the identities of the driver, the deceased, and the injured individuals.
