Expired Food Discovered at Gyumri School Destroyed, Says Food Safety Authority
The specialists of the Food Safety Inspection Body of Armenia conducted an inspection at the kitchen of School No. 18 named after Paruyr Sevak in Gyumri as part of ongoing supervisory measures in educational institutions of Shirak Province.
As reported by the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Food Safety Inspection Body, a total of 208 expired eggs and 4 double-frozen chickens without Armenian labeling were discovered. The non-compliant food items were destroyed on the spot.
