Any manifestation of violence, for any reason or justification, is unacceptable: Pashinyan
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made a post on his Facebook page addressing the recent shooting incident at the "Erebuni Plaza."
"Any manifestation of violence, for any reason or justification, is unacceptable. No to violence. Armenia without violence," he wrote.
It is reported that an unidentified individual fired random shots towards the "Erebuni Plaza." Preliminary information suggests that there are no casualties or injuries. Citizens have been prohibited from leaving the "Erebuni Plaza," and law enforcement and emergency services are present at the scene.
Eduard Martirosyan, the Acting Director of the National Security Service of Armenia, has arrived at the location, along with Arman Sargsyan, the Acting Chief of Police.
The individual who opened fire at the "Erebuni Plaza" has been neutralized.
