Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Elmar Mammadyarov Have Agreed to Meet Soon

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Elmar Mammadyarov, have agreed to meet in the near future.

According to Armenpress, Mnatsakanyan announced this during a Q&A session with the government in the National Assembly on January 22, in response to a question from Arman Abovyan, the secretary of the Prosperous Armenia faction.

"We are ready for a meeting. We have certain agreements in place, and we are working together with the co-chairs and the other side to outline how we will proceed this year. As for the meeting, we always adhere to the principle of announcing things in an agreed manner. We have an agreement that we can meet in the near future. We have expressed the position that we are ready to negotiate at any moment, regardless of everything," stated Mnatsakanyan.
